A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is a trained volunteer who is appointed by a judge to represent the best interests of a child in court. These children are victims of abuse and/or neglect and are in the court system through no fault of their own.

There are no special background or educational requirements for a CASA volunteer, only the dedication to our most vulnerable and valuable assets of Marshall County—our children. Extensive training will focus on child development, family dynamics, communication, the court system, and working with others.

You cannot control where abused and/or neglected children come from, but you can have something to do with where they end up.

Become a CASA Volunteer to help the most vulnerable children in Marshall County break the cycle of abuse and neglect.
